Nathan graduated from Grove City College in 2016 as a history major with a minor in legal studies. He is a current graduate student at the School for Conflict Analysis & Resolution (S-CAR) at George Mason University, where his academic interests include peacebuilding, education, religion, and diplomacy.

Having spent most of his life in rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he is anxious to interact with Indonesia’s diverse population and the beautiful surrounding landscape. As the son of two educators, Nathan looks forward to exchanging knowledge and culture in the classroom.

For his Fulbright, Nathan will be placed at SMKN 1 Beringin in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra.
