Nate graduated from Gettysburg College in 2017 with a dual degree in international affairs and political science. During college, he co-taught ESL classes – an activity he continued to pursue outside of work in the Washington DC area. Nate also studied abroad in Nepal which spurred his interest in diplomacy and international development.

During the Fulbright program, Nate is excited to experience the eclectic facets of Indonesian culture and engage with his host community.

For his Fulbright ETA program, Nate will be placed in East Java where he will co-teach at SMA Nahdlatul Ulama 1 Gresik.
