AMINEF hosted gala dinner on November 15, 2017 to commemorate 25 years of AMINEF and 65 years of Fulbright Program in Indonesia. It was an exciting gathering attended by US Ambassador Joseph R. Donovan, H.E. Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Indonesian Minister of Finance as well as up to 200 guests of Fulbright alumni from various generations, AMINEF Board members, past and present, Indonesian Ministry officials, friends of AMINEF and other foundations. This special occasion was a chance to hear Keynote Speech by Minister Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati and remarks by Ambassador Joseph R. Donovan and AMINEF Executive Director, Alan Feinstein and the perfect time to honor five Emeritus Trustees, give final thanks to two long-serving AMINEF staff and acknowledge AMINEF staff with 10 or more years of service. Guests previewed a specially produced Fulbright in Indonesia video which brings to live the anniversaries theme of “Experience, Contribute, Inspire” and sets of series of anniversary publications were presented to Ambassador Joseph R. Donovan and Minister Dr. Sri Mulyani. The festive evening culminated with an Indonesian premiere of a musical performance by Jen Shyu, American Fulbrighter to Indonesia.
