Ryan recently graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in Environmental Studies and Public Policy. He has strong interest in the environment and sustainability issues and has always been fascinated by other cultures.

Ryan actively sought opportunities to interact with people from backgrounds. Over the course of both his high school and college careers, he has had multiple opportunities to teach both English and Science. He taught at the elementary, middle and high school levels and also worked with resettled Nepalese refugees who were new to the country.

For his Fulbright ETA program, Ryan will be placed at East Java where he will co-teach at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Gresik.
