At the end of this month, Fulbright ETA Anna Ringheiser and members of her school, including the headmaster and vice principals, went to the office of the Bupati. Year 11 student of MAN Temanggung, Afan, was selected to participate in the YSEALI program and will be leaving for the United States in early April for a month of leadership training, workshops, and a chance to visit the capital. He is so excited and the school so proud of his accomplishments. Meeting with the local government was a great honor for him and the school members who came, so they can share this proud moment with the community. At the meeting, Afan and some of the school officials, along with an official from the ministry of religious affairs, got an opportunity to speak to a local media outlet, which they enjoyed.
