Sesilia is a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Pancasila in South Jakarta. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and Master’s Degree in clinical pharmacy from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2004 and 2009.
She would like to pursue a Doctoral degree in clinical pharmacy. Her proposed study is related to the role of the community pharmacist in dealing with former and current smokers, and also assessing various factors that contributes to the success or failure of smoking cessation strategies.
Upon completion of her degree program, she will return to her institution and establish a Center for Human Behavior associated with smoking. She also has plans to collaborate with government bodies, hospitals, and other health institutions in conducting research and providing counseling for community members and students who are interested in joining smoking cessation programs.
For her Fulbright Doctoral degree program in pharmaceutical sciences, Sesilia is placed at University of Mississippi.
