Stephanie O’Gara holds a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University. She stays in Indonesia for 3 months studying Bahasa Indonesia in Yogyakarta then starts her research project on “Indonesian Biomass Waste as Renewable Energy” supported by US Fulbright Student Research grant. Through her research, she wants to identify favorable biomass waste and estimates the volume produced for possible generation of biofuel. She is supported by the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) in Jakarta.
