Welcome to the first edition of the Fulbright ETA Monthly Highlights from the 2019-20 cohort! Twenty-eight new English Teaching Assistants arrived in Indonesia on July 28, 2019. This year, the ETAs will be teaching across Indonesia in the following provinces: North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Bengkulu, Central Java, West Java, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and South Sulawesi.

First Week of Teaching
ETA Michael Walsh enjoyed his first full week of teaching at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja in South Sulawesi. On August 31, SMA Unggul Del hosted their bi-annual Social Competition, bringing primary, middle, and high school students from around Toba Samosir to the school to showcase their knowledge on social subjects.
